Helios Apts & Studios is situated on the hill and overlooks beautiful harbour of Makrigialos where you can find typical Cretan taverns with traditional food and bars where you can enjoy your time listening to the Greek music.

The delightful and familiar atmosphere of Helios Apts&Studios makes this place perfect for couples, families or singles who wants to spend quieter and reclusive holidays in privacy and peace avoiding crowdy places and the pressures of everyday life.

We offer 2 apartments and 8 studios built and furnished in Cretan style (visit the Photo Gallery). The apartment (2 rooms, 1 living room, kitchenette, bathroom-with WC and shower) is suitable for 5 persons. The studio (1 room, kitchenette, 1 double and 1 single bed) is perfect for 3 persons. All of them have air conditioning (personal control) and balcony with sea view and mountain view.

There are two swimming pools (one small, separated for children) with direct sea view. You can sunbathe on the sun bed or just relax under the umbrella. Sun beds and umbrellas are free of charge.

Helios Apt&Studios is situated in the most natural and wild part of Crete which is the Lassithi prefecture. The south location of Makrigialos, 300 km from Africa by the sea provides this place the special climate different than the rest of Crete.

We are ideally situated on the hill, 250 meters form the main road which extends from one end of the island to the other (with taverns, bars, souvenir shops, pharmacy, gym, hairdresser and banking service-cash points) and 360 meters from the sandy long beach of the Lybian Sea.
